E tua mā, we have two really exciting pilot programmes –Kura Ahiahi Waiata with Majic Paora & Kura Ahiahi Whakatangi Kīta with Te Whaiao Manga.

Stay locked on to this page e tua mā, there are no age restrictions, you may only apply for one Kura Ahiahi in the same term, preference will be given to descendants of Tuperiri, and the first five correctly completed registrations will be the successful tauira for this programme.

  • Kura Ahiahi Waiata with Majic Paora

    Majic Paora is our sensational exponent, professional singing is the kaupapa!

    Learn to waiata with our very own Ngāti Whātua tohunga kaiwaiata, Majic Paora. Kura Ahiahi Waiata is a five week pilot programme on offer here in Ōrākei and we are blessed to have the opportunity to learn from Majic.

    We have five bookable ½ hour spots every Monday afternoon between 3.30-5.30pm for five weeks.

  • Kura Ahiahi Whakatangi Kīta with Te Whaiao Manga

    Te Whaiao Manga is the exponent, professional guitar playing is the kaupapa!

    Learn to play acoustic guitar with Te Whaiao Manga, experienced, qualified and beautiful guitarist, the partner of Majic Paora. Kura Ahiahi Whakatangi Kīta is a five week pilot programme on offer here in Ōrākei and we are blessed to have the opportunity to learn from Te Whaiao.

    We have five bookable ½ hour spots every Wednesday afternoon between 3.30-5.30pm for five weeks.
